October Group

A few notes from our last Quilt Group meeting:

- November 13th is Ministry Quilting Day - we'll likely work on strippy blocks and baby quilts.
- December 6th will be our "November" quilt group (post-Christmas Dinners, so we can relax and have fun!)
- December 11th Friendship Quilting Day is up for discussion - I'll send an Evite to see if there's any interest.

For those of you that weren't there to make your nametag, we have your names at church, and Cherice has various directions that you can use to devise a nametag! We had fun, and some even got done!

Strippy Quilts:
- Cherice and Betsy made up "fast packs" with fabric for 4 strippy blue and yellow blocks. Please take a bag and make a few, and before we know it we'll have a quilt made!
- If you have any strippy blocks at home, please bring them in this week (to Betsy's mailbox is fine), so Diana and friends can work on them on Ministry Quilting day! Thanks much!

September Group

We talked about our group, and things we want to do coming up. One specific thing was to plan days ahead that are Friendship Quilting Days, but are for Comfort Quilts or Baby Quilts - basically Ministry Quilting Days. What we've chosen so far is: 

• Saturday, November 13: Ministry Quilting Day. We'll have more details when we get close.
• Saturday, February 12: Ministry Quilting Day
• Saturday, May 14: Ministry Quilting Day
